This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data, analytics, and client delivery, supporting hospital and health system partners with actionable insights that improve operational and financial performance. You will work closely with delivery and client-facing teams to transform complex Epic data into structured reporting, trend analysis, and performance dashboards. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timeliness are critical. You will play a key role in preparing data deliverables, validating information across systems, and ensuring consistency in reporting outputs. Over time, you will also contribute to client-facing presentations and storytelling based on data insights. This is a highly collaborative role where your work directly supports healthcare organizations in improving revenue cycle operations and patient experience outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, prepare, and maintain complex Excel-based reports and deliverables in standardized and reusable formats.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs.
- Execute target-to-source data mapping to support the development and optimization of data pipelines.
- Analyze Epic system data to identify trends, patterns, and operational insights within hospital and revenue cycle environments.
- Respond to ad hoc client and internal requests requiring rapid analysis and clear, structured communication of findings.
- Partner with delivery and technical teams to troubleshoot data issues, resolve inconsistencies, and improve reporting processes.
- Translate raw data into meaningful insights to support internal decision-making and future client-facing presentations.
- Manage multiple reporting priorities while meeting strict deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or reporting-focused role.
- Hands-on experience working with Epic data in a hospital or revenue cycle management environment (required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced data manipulation.
- Experience working in healthcare, hospital systems, or revenue cycle operations.
- Proven ability to independently execute reporting tasks, analyze datasets, and derive actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and data accuracy focus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a structured environment.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from approximately $48,131 to $81,225, depending on experience and location.
- Eligibility for an annual bonus plan with a target incentive of 5%.
