Associate Software Engineer

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality web applications while contributing to the full software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in design discussions, implementation, and process improvements. You will also ensure that solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET, .NET Core, and Angular
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following software engineering best practices
• Build backend services using C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and Entity Framework
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data access and manipulation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, development, and testing activities
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve design, architecture, and code quality
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and software delivery processes

Requirements

The ideal candidate has foundational experience in software development and a strong willingness to learn modern technologies and best practices. You should have good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented Agile environment. Exposure to cloud platforms and interest in emerging technologies such as AI is an added advantage.

• 1–2 years of experience in software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET and .NET Core
• Proficiency in Angular and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework, and JSON
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries
• Familiarity with Kendo UI and jQuery (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Interest in AI technologies and modern software engineering trends
