This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise healthcare compliance operations within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. The position focuses on exclusion screening, vendor compliance, CMS audit readiness, and governance processes that support operational integrity and regulatory adherence. You will collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Procurement, IT, and business leaders to ensure compliance standards are consistently met across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in detail-oriented environments, enjoys solving complex compliance challenges, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This fully remote role combines operational execution with strategic process improvement, making it ideal for professionals who want to strengthen healthcare compliance programs while driving measurable business impact. You’ll also play a key role in audit preparation, issue remediation, and maintaining audit-ready documentation that supports long-term organizational success.

Accountabilities:

    • Manage enterprise exclusion screening processes for employees, contractors, and vendors, including checks against OIG LEIE, SAM.gov, OFAC, and State Medicaid exclusion lists.
    • Review, adjudicate, and document screening results using compliance and risk management platforms while escalating high-risk findings to relevant stakeholders.
    • Support vendor compliance and third-party risk management activities, including onboarding due diligence, monitoring, recertifications, and remediation tracking.
    • Coordinate and maintain audit-ready documentation for CMS, payer, and state audits, including policies, SOPs, control narratives, and supporting evidence.
    • Use governance and compliance tools to manage incidents, corrective action plans (CAPs), dashboards, and compliance reporting activities.
    • Partner with internal departments to resolve compliance gaps, strengthen operational controls, and improve process efficiency through automation and workflow enhancements.
    • Monitor issue resolution timelines, validate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of compliance findings and audit observations.
    • Provide guidance and training to operational teams regarding compliance standards, audit expectations, and documentation best practices.

    Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, business operations, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, exclusion screening, audit support, vendor compliance, or related regulatory functions.
      • Strong understanding of CMS regulations, OIG requirements, healthcare audit standards, and regulatory evidence management practices.
      • Experience supporting CMS, Medicaid, Medicare, payer, or state regulatory audits in healthcare environments.
      • Hands-on experience using AuditBoard or similar GRC/compliance management platforms preferred.
      • Familiarity with screening tools such as Certiphi, LexisNexis, Refinitiv, Exiger, or equivalent compliance systems.
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence process improvements.
      • Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, workflow systems, and compliance documentation processes.
      • Process improvement mindset with attention to detail, operational rigor, and risk mitigation best practices.

      Benefits:

        • Fully remote work opportunity available nationwide within the United States.
        • Opportunity to work in a large global healthcare-focused organization with strong industry expertise and innovation initiatives.
        • Exposure to enterprise-level compliance operations, CMS audits, and healthcare governance programs.
        • Collaborative and supportive work culture focused on professional growth and continuous improvement.
        • Access to advanced compliance, governance, and risk management technologies and tools.
        • Professional development opportunities within healthcare compliance and regulatory operations.
        • Inclusive and diverse workplace committed to equal employment opportunities.
        • Competitive compensation package and comprehensive employee benefits.
