You will work on complex healthcare technologies such as electronic health records, billing systems, scheduling platforms, and enterprise applications that directly support patient care and operational efficiency. The role involves configuring, optimizing, and maintaining applications while collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders. You will also contribute to project delivery, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives that improve workflows and system performance. Operating with a high degree of independence, you will serve as a technical expert and trusted resource within the team. This position offers exposure to large-scale healthcare systems and meaningful impact on care delivery and organizational efficiency.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will provide advanced application support, configuration, integration, and lifecycle management for complex healthcare systems. You will contribute to system optimization, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring alignment with business and clinical needs.

    • Analyze, design, configure, implement, and maintain healthcare applications across their full lifecycle, including support, upgrades, and decommissioning
    • Document workflows and translate business requirements into functional and technical system designs
    • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues in accordance with service standards
    • Partner with vendors and internal teams to support integrations, implementations, and system enhancements
    • Manage or support mid-sized projects, including planning, coordination, and execution responsibilities
    • Perform quality reviews of system builds and ensure adherence to configuration standards
    • Develop test plans, scripts, and validation processes to ensure system integrity and performance
    • Support reporting and analytics needs for end users and leadership decision-making
    • Participate in on-call rotations and command center support activities as needed
    • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing across teams
    • Assist in forecasting, resource planning, and capital planning for application-related initiatives

    Requirements

    This role requires strong experience in healthcare application support, systems analysis, and technical configuration within complex IT environments. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, project coordination ability, and deep application knowledge, preferably within healthcare systems.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
      • 4+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or related IT/healthcare roles
      • Experience working with complex healthcare systems (EHR, billing, scheduling, or similar platforms)
      • Preferred experience with Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and/or claims systems
      • Strong understanding of system configuration, integration, and application lifecycle management
      • Experience participating in or supporting IT projects, including mid-sized initiatives
      • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into system requirements and solutions
      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word)
      • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
      • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a structured environment
      • Epic certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification) preferred
