AI Serch Strategist

This role sits at the intersection of SEO, AI discovery, and digital content strategy, focusing on how brands and products are surfaced across emerging AI-powered search ecosystems. You will be responsible for improving visibility in generative search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, ensuring content is structured for optimal machine understanding. The position blends technical SEO, structured data, semantic optimization, and content strategy to strengthen AI-driven discoverability. You will collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, analytics, and content teams to align digital assets with AI search behavior. The environment is fast-evolving, experimental, and data-driven, requiring both strategic thinking and technical depth. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that improve AI search visibility and ensure content is structured for optimal discoverability across traditional and generative search platforms.

• Develop and implement AI search optimization strategies to improve brand and product visibility across generative AI and conversational search engines.
• Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and semantic structures to enhance AI readability and retrieval performance.
• Lead structured data and schema markup initiatives (JSON-LD) across product, category, and editorial pages.
• Conduct technical SEO audits focused on crawlability, indexing, and site architecture improvements.
• Monitor AI search trends, LLM behavior, and emerging search technologies to identify optimization opportunities.
• Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track AI visibility, citations, and organic performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, marketing, merchandising, and analytics teams to implement SEO and AI enhancements.
• Support content strategy development for conversational search, FAQs, and semantic content optimization.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SEO, technical optimization, and content strategy, with a growing understanding of AI-driven search ecosystems and semantic discovery. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience in SEO, technical SEO, digital marketing, or organic search optimization.
• Strong knowledge of crawlability, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, and semantic search principles.
• Hands-on experience with schema markup, structured data, and JSON-LD implementation.
• Familiarity with AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Looker Studio.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in e-commerce SEO, entity optimization, or conversational search is a strong plus.
