Implementation Specialist MAT

In this role, you will support behavioral health and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinics in successfully implementing and adopting a specialized EMR platform designed for addiction treatment workflows. You will work directly with clinical and operational teams to configure systems, translate real-world MAT processes into structured digital workflows, and ensure smooth go-live readiness. You will also deliver hands-on training to clinic staff, helping them confidently manage dosing, intake, medication tracking, and patient lifecycle processes. Operating across multiple concurrent implementations, you will combine structured project execution with strong client-facing communication. This role is highly impactful, supporting providers who deliver critical care in substance use and behavioral health treatment. It offers a blend of technical configuration, training, and healthcare workflow expertise in a mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities

• Support discovery sessions with MAT/OTP clinics to understand workflows including intake, induction, dosing, medication management, and discharge processes
• Configure the EMR system based on MAT-specific requirements, ensuring accurate setup of clinical and operational workflows
• Validate client data for completeness and accuracy prior to system configuration and go-live readiness
• Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions to clinic staff, ensuring strong adoption and confident system usage
• Adjust training approach based on user needs, ensuring comprehension and operational readiness before go-live
• Maintain detailed project documentation including status updates, risks, decisions, and next steps across multiple implementations
• Track and manage tasks across concurrent projects while escalating issues and blockers in a timely manner
• Support go-live activities and early adoption phases to ensure smooth operational transition

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in EMR implementation or client-facing SaaS implementation roles, or 2+ years in broader SaaS delivery environments
• Direct experience or strong familiarity with behavioral health, substance use disorder, or MAT/OTP clinical workflows
• Solid understanding of MAT processes including patient intake, induction, dosing, medication management, and discharge planning
• Strong communication skills with confidence leading client meetings and training sessions
• Ability to manage multiple implementations and deadlines in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Experience with project tracking and CRM tools such as Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and project execution
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required
