Engagement Director - Microsoft Azure

This is a senior client-facing leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, large-scale digital transformation programs built on Microsoft Azure technologies. You will act as both a strategic advisor and delivery leader, ensuring enterprise engagements achieve business outcomes, financial targets, and exceptional client satisfaction. The role combines executive-level relationship management with hands-on oversight of multi-million-dollar project portfolios. You will guide distributed delivery teams across onshore and offshore environments while ensuring alignment across scope, budget, and timelines. Strong focus is placed on cross-functional collaboration, including sales, delivery, and PMO teams to drive operational excellence. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives in managing high-stakes enterprise programs and shaping long-term client success.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale enterprise transformation programs based on Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Act as executive sponsor for key client engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, and financial performance.
• Manage overall portfolio profitability, including P&L ownership, margin optimization, and delivery efficiency.
• Drive client relationship management, including escalation handling, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore environments.
• Partner with sales and PMO teams to support proposals, SOW reviews, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, delivery excellence, and best practices across consulting and implementation teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project managers and technical teams across multiple engagements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise delivery, program management, or consulting leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale transformation programs ($3M+), ideally within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong background in engagement management, client relationship ownership, and enterprise delivery governance.
• Experience leading distributed global teams, including offshore and nearshore collaboration models.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, margins, and delivery profitability.
• Experience in Azure-focused domains such as data & AI, cloud modernization, infrastructure transformation, or application modernization.
• Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and resolve escalations effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
