Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

The position may include production management, project management, contracting, mentoring and client management.

This position provides the opportunity to not only work with water/wastewater projects but collaborate with other sectors’ projects as well.
Essential Job Functions
- Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
- Contact and visit clients for business development / marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
- High degree of intrapersonal and communication skills is necessary.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships.
- Proficient in managing a wide range of water and wastewater projects to meet client schedules and budgets.
- Ability to mentor engineers in training and design staff in project execution and client expectations.
- Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.
- BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering emphasis
- MS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is preferred
- 4-10 years of experience
- TXPE License or the ability to obtain a license in 6-months is required
- Experience with plan production, familiarity with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP3d, AutoCAD Plant3d, or revit is preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations as well as technical report writing
- Experience with hydraulic modeling utilizing WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, or InfoSewer
